New to the website, I’m excited to share some of my full-length books and stories for your reading pleasure.
Now available on Amazon you can find is “An Izardite’s Journey to the Sweet Hereafter,” a sequel to the novella “Izardites,” and “2001 Arabian Nights.” In “An Izardite’s Journey to the Sweet Hereafter,” the Crawley family finds themselves caught up in a violent regime change insurrection in Izard County, Florida, so they flee to nearby Walton County where they are detained at the county border and treated as unwelcome refugees.

Fictional Izard County does not exist, but it is supposedly located near Defuniak Springs in the Florida Panhandle, a town that was once voted the best small town in Florida. On a recent trip to Defuniak Springs, I decided to visit the real Defuniak Springs and speak to its mayor, jovial Bob Campbell. You can read all about that adventure in the previous blog post.
In “2001 Arabian Nights,” I share tales about the unexpected location of my family’s healing after a tragic and monumental loss. An assignment for work in Saudi Arabia turns into an adventure that brought us all closer together.
In the portfolio tab of the website, you’ll find three new stories: “David O. Dodd,” “The Wildcat,” and the introduction of my forthcoming book, “The House My Daddy Built.” From a young confederate spy, to high school adventures, to tales of my childhood in rural Arkansas – there is something for everyone in these new pieces.

Let me know in the comments below what you think!
This is really cool, Ralph! Happy to learn more about you!
