Ralph Greenwood now lives with his wife in Northern Virginia on the outskirts of Washington DC.
Their too-big home is located on a pipestem driveway with rakish neighbors near a romantic bridge over a four-season creek and is surrounded by woods—all remarkably and coincidentally similar to the B&B described in his first novel, Dismal Hollow.
The Greenwoods are nature lovers and their house is frequently visited by Harvey the squirrel and his/her two siblings/lovers as well as by a pair of foxes and by pileated woodpeckers that resemble pterodactyls of the Jurassic age.
His wife, a retired lawyer and sometimes lobbyist, remains politically active in women’s issues.
